Subhash Mathur

Subhash Mathur is a retired government officer and has managed many interesting and important public affairs and assignments in his tenure of 36 years, having represented India in several International conferences.

Having retired as Chief Commissioner, Customs, and Subhash on superannuation engages in social and charitable projects along with his wife Tilak in Rajasthan. He also  mentors and guides youth to pursue opportunities in public service.

Subhash is also a short story writer, and his work has been published regularly in Rashtradoot, a Jaipur daily and by Muse India, a national magazine.  He is the Founder-Editor of a short story website inourdays.org

Presently, Subhash lives in Jaipur but often travels to Ahmedabad and San Jose to meet their children and grand children.

Gautam Banerji

Gautam Banerji is a mature professional with over forty years of cumulative experience, which includes twelve years of project planning and management with UNICEF, four years (1991-1995) of them under a complex emergency in Iraq in the immediate aftermath of the first Gulf War. He has spent over sixteen years in legal practice subsequently in India and in the UK and remains qualified in both jurisdictions. Having retired from partnership at a London Chancery Lane niche commercial law firm, he proceeded on a second year-long tenure in Iraq (2009-2010) as Judicial Adviser to the Judicial Development Institute, Baghdad. More recently he completed a four month assignment (1 December 2017 – 31 March 2018) as a Short Term Training Adviser to the Supreme Court in Kabul. He has strong family ties to Siuri, our pilot project under LiftUp India2047.

His language skills include working knowledge of Arabic, Burmese and Japanese besides proficiency in Bengali, English and Hindi.
