A Project to Promote Equitable Regional Economic Development
Liftup India 2047 Aims To Make A Contribution To Making India A Prosperous Country By 2047
Our first scheme is to make smaller towns boom and bloom. Boom means job are created, and bloom means the quality of life is improved. We are starting with three towns each in three States. They are:
West Bengal
Start with Siuri, and then Medinipur and Jalpaiguri
Odisha
Start with Bhadrak, and then Bolangir and Rayagada
Rajasthan
Start with Chittorgarh, and then Churu and Kotputli
We will expand to more towns and more States later on. We will do multiple projects in each town, with a local focus.
Our Vision
Our vision is rapid equitable regional economic development of each State that we operate in, so that all people share in rising prosperity. At present, our focus is on West Bengal, Rajasthan, and Odisha, and we expect to expand to MP, Assam, and Punjab later on.
Our Projects
Our project’s objective is to assist in the development of selected smaller cities (population under or around 3 lakhs) in different parts of each State. We expect these cities to grow fast and absorb some of the people leaving their villages, so that the migrants don’t end up in large, congested cities.
LiftUp – Rajasthan 2047
For many years, Rajasthan’s economy has been growing at about the national average. If Rajasthan does not do better in the future, we will not be an all-prosperous State by 2047. The main reason is that Rajasthan’s economy does not create enough reasonably paying jobs, particularly for those without a good college education. That’s a major problem because there are and will be plenty of such people.
